Orchestra del Teatro Olimpico, Beethoven Symphony n. 2, Municipal Theater of Lonigo.
It is with great enthusiasm and pleasure that I await the appointment of Thursday 1st March, Diploma Concert in Orchestra Conducting Course, at the end of the course of study with Maestro Giancarlo Andretta.
Ever since, in 2014, it was renewed in the staff and management, the OTO has expressed a remarkable quality: the sound is bright, like all youth orchestras, but also deep, because it is aware. I am particularly happy to direct this orchestra in Beethoven’s second symphony, a music score in which these two characters are found: the brilliance of the D major and the depth of the D minor (the master prefers the parallel tone to the relative …).
The Municipal Theater of Lonigo is the only historical theater of the nineteenth century in the province of Vicenza, inaugurated on 23 October 1892 and recently renovated. Making music in this place is a pleasure, for those who perform it and for those who listen to it.
Thanks as of now to Maestro Giancarlo Andretta for all that he has taught me in these years of hard, necessary, work.
