Viennese tradition and Italian opera repertoire, with an elegant and captivating conduct: this is the formula that has conquered the Teatro Civico in Schio (two performances at the end of 2019), the Teatro “G. Modena “in Mori on the last day of the year, and the Salone delle feste of the Municipal Casino of Arco, on the first day of 2020.
A Rossinian Overture as a light and fun curtain opening, arias and duets from the ‘800 Italian opera, the rhythms of waltzes and polkas by Johann Strauss son, the fireworks of a virtuoso air and the lightness of a piece from world of Franz Lehar’s operetta; grand finale with the most famous waltz “On the beautiful blue Danube” and encore to follow. The program does not give up on proposing also some famous pieces such as the Hungarian Dances of Brahms or some lesser known pages suitable for the occasion.
