Palestra d’Orchestra

Palestra d’Orchestra is a masterclass for young strings musicians that integrates orchestral experience with other aspects of ever greater relevance and need: well-being, culture, nature and relationships.
The week-long course attracts music students between 15 and 20 years old, from various parts of Italy and of an increasingly higher technical-instrumental level; it takes place in the summer in the magnificent setting of the Brentonico plateau (TN), is organized by ARCI, sponsored by Trentino Marketing, and supported by the Local Natural Park of Monte Baldo, by the Municipality of Brentonico and by private sponsors of the area.
From 2019, alongside the training course, the proposal has been enriched with concerts and conferences, with guests from various areas of culture, under the sign of “music, nature, relationships”.
Ideation and artistic and musical direction are by Giovanni Costantini, who makes use of the collaboration of professionals from the music scene as section tutors.
